Julie Rostan

Research Officer


Julie Rostan is a Research Officer at the Scottish Land Commission where she leads research to build a strong evidence base for land reform policy and practice. She delivers in-house research, including major publications such as the Rural Land Market reporting, and is also involved in commissioning specialist external research. A central part of her role is working closely with research institutes and contractors to support knowledge exchange and the Commission’s strategic goals. Julie has a background in environmental and social science and has previously worked at the University of Aberdeen, the Scottish Association for Marine Science, and WWF Cymru.
